Review // Nikon CF-DC2 Semi Soft case for DSLRs

Nikon’s official CFDC2 semi-soft case is a neoprene-like hard sleeve for DSLRs. The case retails at £45, and comes in a very nice Nikon box.

The case is designed as a kind of intermediate method of protection for your Nikon DSLR - for someone who does not want a full hard bag, but then again does not want a minimal neoprene sleeve. There are also cutouts for the strap, meaning that you can carry this round on your neck while the case it still on. The slots for the straps also allow you pull out your DLSR, snap a picture, with the case still attached to the strap, very useful for quick shots.

As you can see the case has a secure velcro fastening, and it’s easy to remove your DSLR simply by unfastening the rear end of the case and pulling your camera out.
The construction of the case is its strongest point. Super high-quality materials are used, and it feels (and looks) very high quality - nothing less should be expected from an official Nikon case. Overall, this is a fantastic case, cannot be faulted and would be a great way to protect your Nikon DSLR. (sidebar: I tested this using a D5100, it should fit most Nikon DSLRs).
Big thanks to Lovecases for sending this out to me for review. Lovecases have an outstanding range of camera cases and iPod touch 5G cases at great prices - be sure to check them out!
