Review: Proporta Leather slip case for Asus Nexus 7
The Proporta leather slip case for the Nexus 7 is made from a tough synthetic leather material that protects your Nexus 7 in a super stylish way. The case has a few interesting features that not only make it pretty but also very easy to use and functional.
The inside of the case features this soft tartan/argyle style pattern that actually gives your Nexus 7 screen a light brush when you take it in and out of the case, meaning that your screen is always nice and clean to use and fingerprint-free. It also makes taking the device in and out of the case very easy as there is little resistance in the material.
One of the neatest features of the case though is the pull tab - not only does this lock in place courtesy of a button fastening on the case, preventing your device from falling out, but also when pulled on actually lifts your Nexus 7 out of the case, making it super fast and easy to remove from the case.
Once opened, the pull tab can actually be secured to the back of the case when fully extended courtesy of a small magnet just above the Proporta logo on the back of the case.
Overall, this is one of the best cases I’ve ever used on a mobile device. It’s stylish, has a lovely soft-touch faux leather outside, a soft inside that cleans your Nexus 7’s screen, and an ingenious and well-constructed pull tab that makes operation of the case very easy indeed. It’s also tough which will protect your Nexus 7 from bumps and scratches as well as drops. I highly recommend this case.
